MALBA was founded in 2001 with the donation of more than 200 works of Eduardo F. Costantini's collection. It is a museum devoted to Art from Latin America, currently holding a prestigious collection of more than 600 artworks, and offering an active program of exhibitions, workshops, film, literature, and publications.
In the interview with Gerhard Haupt & Pat Binder, Eduardo Costantini talks about his collecting passion, his focus on Latin America, and plans of establishing a second MALBA in a precarious neighborhood.
