Among the well worth seeing ensembles and buildings at the historical Heart of Sharjah, there is the Calligraphy Square surrounded by several art and cultural institutions, used as temporary venues of the Sharjah Biennial. Venues of SB13 directly at the square are: Ceramics House, Calligraphy Centre, Sharjah Centre for the Art of Arabic Calligraphy & Ornamentation, Dar Al Nadwa.
